Onitio Finland joins Climate Community

Onitio Finland strengthens its sustainability efforts by joining the Finland Chamber of Commerce Climate Community

Onitio Finland Oy has been selected to join the Finland Chamber of Commerce Climate Community, which supports companies in developing climate action and reducing emissions. The community will begin its operations in autumn 2025 and brings together 141 companies from across Finland.

We aim to ensure that our operations support our customers’ sustainability goals and meet their long-term expectations, says Ville Landtman, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Onitio Finland Oy.

Scope 3 emissions often account for the largest share of a company’s total carbon footprint. Understanding these emissions in detail enables companies to target reduction measures effectively across the entire value chain. The Climate Community provides companies with practical tools, expert support and training to help navigate Scope 3 emissions and advance their climate goals.

– Through the Climate Community, we gain access to up-to-date information, opportunities to learn from others and practical solutions that we can apply to our own operations. The Finland Chamber of Commerce Climate Community brings together companies committed to long-term climate work. It is intended for companies that have already calculated their direct emissions and understand the fundamentals of emission accounting. Membership in the community is granted to companies that are committed to advancing their climate work and actively engaging in the community.
