Onitio Wins HP Climate Action Award for Fleet Efficiency
Onitio is proud to announce that we have been awarded the HP Fleet Efficiency Award for our outstanding efforts in transforming our vehicle fleet towards a more sustainable future.
This award recognises Onitio's bold initiatives to reduce carbon emissions and embrace electric transportation.
Over the past two years, Onitio has undergone a remarkable transformation of our vehicle fleet by deploying 283 electric vehicles across four Nordic countries. This constitutes more than half of the Onitio's fleet and represents a significant investment in environmentally friendly transport infrastructure. This commitment underscores Onitio's dedication to driving tangible changes towards a greener future.
Our proactive efforts, particularly in countries like Sweden where electricity production is predominantly low carbon, have already yielded significant results. Compared to October 2022, Onitio has achieved an impressive quadrupling in emission reductions, saving nearly 60 tons of CO2 equivalents in just a single month.
Receiving the HP Climate Action Award for Fleet Efficiency underscores Onitio's unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability. By leading the charge in fleet electrification and actively contributing to carbon emission reduction, Onitio has established itself as a pioneer in sustainability within the IT and service sector.
